Welcome to my nature and wildlife photography website.
I began taking pictures about eight years ago when I was creating my gardening site
Mikes Backyard Garden.
I originally bought myself a used Canon film camera since at that time digital was fairly new and expensive.
Since I was only taking photographs for my gardening site I did not see the need to go to digital.
After a couple of years I made the big step into the digital world and I have never regretted it.
With digital cameras you have feedback through the LCD screen and can adjust your shots instantly.
During the last eight years I have found a whole new world of nature and wildlife.
This website was created to showcase a some of my photography, I hope you enjoy looking at my pictures as much as I have enjoyed taking them.
